The Arduino has "shields". The Raspberry Pi has "hats". Beaglebone has "Capes". TI Launchpad has "BoosterPacks". What do you think I should call the horizontal expansions in the RC2014 Mini form factor? They aren't "modules" like the modular RC2014. Plates? Stacks? Layers? Strata? Something else?

@rc2014@oldbytes.space I’m going to vote for “strata” for two very personal (and therefore bad for you) reasons: • Geology for the win! • Then you’ll be a strata manager like I am here in NSW and/or you’ll likely need a “strata manager” hardware and/or software component
