Google copied our open-source code, removed engineers' names without credit
Yeah, they do that from time to time. It doesn't help that codegooners normalize "AI"-washing copyright and credits away with "I can rewrite chardet with an LLM and change its license, past contributors and copyright holders be damned", and "zomg it's just fair use, the LLM spit it out, we didn't know it's bit for bit stolen!!1".
But yeah, when the Google steals your shit, that hurts.
We wanted to build the best agent in the world to control any mobile interface with natural language.
Oh never mind. Fuck you both!

@algernon@come-from.mad-scientist.club there's one thing I don't get: you CW your technical posts like "mouse makes rocks do math", as if some people might not want to see them but when you write about infuriating stuff like your HN reviews - things people might actually be sick of - then you don't CW that it's not like it bothers me a lot, I can recognize your HN review posts before I start reading them, it's just that I find it a bit strange
