If Syncthing is working on your immutable distro, it’s probably packaged with the distro withiut you being aware of it

Nope. syncthing: Kommando nicht gefunden The only trace of Syncthing on my system is… well, from that flatpak. And unless I missunderstund how any of that works, syncthing is included in flatpak and you can look for it in its manifest file: https://github.com/flathub/com.github.zocker_160.SyncThingy/blob/a786450f1305474e71c1f33c468ff3dc5758e238/com.github.zocker_160.SyncThingy.yml#L42 It takes syncting release from https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing/releases and adds it to build process.
