@johnstephenson@mastodonapp.uk I have mixed feelings. Knowing that instances can protect users from other instances that are set up with overall intent to spam or hate, great. But blocking an instance over a small number of users feels better handled differently (speaking to mods about those users, blocking troublesome accounts, etc). I do appreciate the capability to switch instances if I don't like the moderation style of mine... though I'm pretty sure I would screw up switching instances if I tried. 😅
