I tried looking on feasibility of building one myself in Poland, and the largest filters that seem available are like 10" in size, or something like 15x6". Add to that fans with decent suction, and you can get cheapest Xiaomi air purifier for that price...

@viq@social.hackerspace.pl I know I've seen several people in Europe using a IKEA HEPA filters and PC fans. Perhaps those materials might be more available in your area?
