@indivisibleteam@mastodon.social what's the question? "Do you have enough money to keep us from believing our lying eyes?" Those corporations AREN'T popular... They should obviously just make media bias/manipulation into an election issue. It IS one of the Republicans' essential levers of control... It's why they can set the agenda and so frequently win wars over how issues are framed, are still branded as "fiscally responsible" & good for the economy 🤡, and can consistently co-opt any terms they fine inconvenient

@indivisibleteam@mastodon.social "Meta’s dedication to ensuring free and fair elections.” Their what? Yeah, that's not a thing. It was never a thing. They are dedicated to rating women as if they were cattle. And selling your personal data.

@indivisibleteam@mastodon.social people need to quit Fakebook, Instacrap, and X(tremely racist). Why tolerate dis/misinformation, divisive rage farming, election interference, mass surveillance and microtargetting used against users, scams and cons, virtue signalling, humble bragging, and endless ads. Are photos of your aunt's cats and childish memes really worth staying on these shitty platforms? Just quit.

@indivisibleteam@mastodon.social In countries that are not the USA, the answer is simple: ban these companies, because media controlled by foreign powers is a danger to democracy.
