It’s hard to predict what will happen to the Linux structure after Linux Thorvalds AI-comments: will we have a non-AI Linux fork, will people live with it or will people move to BSD?

@mosgaard@uddannelse.social The vast majority of Linux kernel developers and maintainers are on Linus's side. There won't be a significant fork. To quote Linus, ""In the kernel community, we do open source because it results in better technology, not because of religious reasons. And so we make decisions primarily based on technical merit. Not fear of new tools."
