@petrillic@hachyderm.io About a year ago the job listings at Apple started showing LLM experience as a nice-to-have for new candidates. So my assumption is that a fresh wave of slop-coded shit is now slowly oozing out of Apple's various products. And lately I've definitely noticed a lot of weird small bugs with both iOS and Mac OS - things that should easily have been caught and show a certain lack of finesse.

It’s definitely “wontfix” and it happens when you receive a new message on both your phone and Mac, read the message on your phone, the read status syncs back to your Mac, but the count never ever updates because who would ever read a message on their phone instead of their Mac!
