As a free software activist, I’ve lost. Between AI and the big tech companies that don’t respect licenses—and anyway, if you have AI, licenses don’t mean anything anymore—it’s a defeat. On the other hand, the important thing is that we’ve built top-notch free tools that are super secure. If the tech of the powerful is screwing us over, we’ve built tech for the poor and the rebels.
