@me_@sueden.social Eh, I read about 2 pages of text on this weirdly vacant site before getting a distinct “genAI” vibe. Sure enough, another slop project. And it does the super gross bit of calling it a “collaborator”. What a shame.

@a@pdx.social Yeah, that’s quite unfortunate and outright disgusting. I wanted to check it out nevertheless since I’m looking for a useable replacement for the systems I’m using right now (macOS and Linux). NextBSD feels like a hodgepodge of components forced to worked as a system - FreeBSD kernel with added Mach on top, GNUstep components and on top of this using Xlibre… So NextBSD will most probably not be my future OS… the only slop-free options seem to be NetBSD and Haiku right now.
