I personally will never understand the rating systems that come with Survival Horror games, to paraphrase how YouTuber Punchy describes it, they sometimes incentivise playing a bit like a clown. Enigma features a similar system, scoring you purely on clear time. Clearing the game fast enough will get you a Marvelous rating will net you a code that allows you to play as a Mummy... For reasons, I guess... My searches didn't yield too much information on the actual criteria for the Marvelous rating. My first game clear (at 14 hours in-game time) netted me a "Not good" rating, but that features a lot of aimless bumbling about. So, going into my next playthrough, as the second of three characters, I was better prepared, hoofing it where I could. This was purely experimental and not truly efficient as I was also knocking out 100% clear achievements in the same run, consuming unnecessary time. In my head, I set a benchmark for 6 hours and, well, if that the case... #PS1 #Spooptober
