❝ the left ❞ in USA? in 1990s? nope. the only “left” online was the NetArt movement and we were treated with disdain by the so-called left. i have been online since the 1980s and an activist since the 90s. I AM THE ORIGINAL BLOGDIVA OF THE 00s. back then the so-called left treated tech activists like me as radioactive because we warned this would happen, ESPECIALLY back in the 00s after both parties rubber stamped DHS and decided to throw migrants under the bus.
