Donnie seems to have all the traits of a narcissist. Ever try to get a narcissist to apologize in good faith (not the “I’m sorry if you took offense” non-apology, I mean) for something they did, and they know they should be ashamed of and that they know you know? Narcissists are great at putting on a big show, love-bombing people they just met in many instances, and people that are rather naive or unfamiliar with this sort of thing will be taken in by it, and could not possibly believe that person could ever be nasty or vicious. People that have to be around them a lot and try to nail them down on the veracity of something they are saying, or actions they took that they don’t want to own up to? You’ll see that narcissist act like a cornered animal. Everything will be turned around on the person speaking, and the person trying to nail them down? Lucky to get a word in edge-wise amidst the person talking/yelling over them, usually consisting of abusive language and even threats of violence.
