@monkey@brain.worm.pink @slu7@social.xenofem.me Well phones were cordless and I lived somewhere that was way too rural to even have street lights and stayed out way later than when the neighbor's shoplight came on to catch fireflies and other assorted bugs, but I have drank from a hose many times. (Things that make Gen X'ers on Facebook explode with comments of "it wasn't the same as what we had" and "you're still on your phone too much")

@NotAFemboy@brain.worm.pink @slu7@social.xenofem.me so the street light one is basically boomer reminiscing on being able to roam around all day without supervision until it got late, aka when the street lights came on. I've seen a lot of boomer face book posts talk about this bullshit lol.
