@mitradranirban Please!! this needs to happen for hindi etc. the entire rhythm and flow of the page is biased against effortless reading of devnagari because of the bloody topline being aligned for latin letters or whatever.

@anandphilipc this is not a Devanagari font but a Latin one. We have long had made Indic fonts using a traditional Roman baseline. This my revenge :OTFeature_ss01:
