I'd have gone with Heroes for Bowie (in fact that was my #10), Brain Salad Surgery for ELP, and Closing Time for Waits
I would have stuck to my teens, but Hedwig hit me so hard in 2014. I've since lost all respect for NPH, but I sat front row enough times that I'm surprised he didn't get a restraining order
And I saw Hamilton twice as many times as I saw Hedwig. I think it was all I listened to for a year

@kims@mas.to I could have picked nothing but classical music, since that’s mostly what I listened to in my teens, but I remember with each of these nine albums the shock and delight of discovering them. They are the albums I found thrilling. (Loved Hedwig and listened to the album many times. I think I maybe heard one or two songs from Hamilton but they didn’t do anything for me.)
