If i was developing a device that was to sell for three thousand dollars I would simply put it in my pocket and wait a week to see if it disintegrated before releasing it to market.

@Unixbigot@aus.social If I was thinking of buying one, I would be waiting a few months. Not camping out for days, to be the first to get one. But I guess now those content creators now have a new exclusive and something to yap on endless about on their videos and podcasts.

@Unixbigot@aus.social I had to test a device that needed to survive in cold environments. There is something to be said for how we ended up just leaving one of them in a freezer in my partner's apartment for a few months while we worked on the software.
