Gross. And I don’t think you can clean prions off of meat processing equipment. Even if you can, I don’t trust this shithole country to enforce that.

@maggiejk@zeroes.ca Classical scrapies doesn't effect humans, but it does a number on deer. Chronic wasting disease is caused by the exact same prion. Deer are spreading scrapies from farm to farm. Prions can only be destroyed by very high heat or chemicals that break them down. Equipment can be cleaned, but meat can't be rid of them without destroying the meat.
