In the past, a single case was enough to stir public opinion, but today we have grown accustomed to the detention of sons from the Triangle, the Galilee, the Negev, and the coastal cities, without charges or trials, as if it were natural! Dozens of detainees languish in the harshest Israeli prisons, some of whom have exceeded a full year under the sword of administrative detention, while their cases are absent from our public discourse, and interest in their suffering and fate is nearly nonexistent.
