I remain surprised how many adult sons don't know how proud their 90 year old Dads are of them, and love them. They are shocked at what Dad will say to me, but never them. A mom told me her adult son saw her as a hindrance because he always seemed unmoved by her. I told her he broke down and wept when she was hospitalized and no one could help her. She had no idea he loved or cared about her. Life is fleeting. Don't waste it being stingy with praise and love. It can be contagious.
