:linux:💻 I’m going to install Linux (Bazzite GDX or a similar distro) on a Lenovo Yoga C940 my partner has lying around.
My motivation is to have a secondary travel laptop—my heavy 16” MacBook Pro sucks to lug around for long.
Between Penpot, Figma, and Affinity (via Wine) I should be able to do most design essentials.
Fun excuse to tinker with Linux more!

I’ve managed to get Bazzite running smoothly on this old Lenovo Yoga and nearly setup for my needs. It runs so much better than Windows 11. I also managed to bork an install by trying to rebase to Bazzite GDX so I learned how to rollback to a previous deployment (great but not very intuitive feature) https://dev.bazzite.gg/ Getting Affinity Studio installed with wine has been harder than expected… I think I’m close though using a portable AppImage. https://github.com/ryzendew/Linux-Affinity-Installer #Linux #Bazzite #KDE
