When Buttigieg took office, there were only 3 Black people in leadership positions in South Bend, including that police chief. Within 6 months there were zero.
But it gets worse...

There were allegations that Buttigieg donors were on the tapes that the police chief recorded, plotting with the officers on how to get rid of all the Black people in city leadership. The Black community wanted to know if this was true. Buttigieg refused to release the tapes. But it gets worse...
