However, all the linguistic nitpicking I’m seeing on this subject does feel rather on the nose when weighed against the gravity of a freaking live-streamed genocide that is being actively aided and abetted by our states and our nation-states. Of course “not all” anyone on anything. But you also cannot deny that Germany is fucked up in a very unique way on this issue.

@aral@mastodon.ar.al Of course, I get your point, the inconsistencies in parts of the German left concerning Zionism, not to speak of the inconceivable, shameless "Staatsraison". However, I'm an ardent warrior against the nations myth, because it's still so efficacious, after all the evil which it has already brought to humanity. I don't like to see people depicted by their nationality. I don't care, if Germany gets fucked up, it deserves to disappear from the map. I only care about the people living here.
