@Canageek@wandering.shop I mean, if you're going to go to the trouble of packaging it as an rpm, why not contribute it to Factory, so it's there the next time you want it?
That's how things get into distribution repositories.

@sfalken@mastodon.naturalorder.me Because I have no idea how to package something as an RPM, and I've been using Linux full time for less than a year at this point, so I'd be very scared of doing things wrong and getting people annoyed at me!
