@castastrophe@front-end.social I don’t think the way you’re answering those questions makes any difference. Based on my recent experience it seems everyone on both sides is basically engaged in some elaborate cosplay.

@castastrophe@front-end.social I now have two databases: one to track applications where my existing skills and experience are relevant and another for roles where they’re transferable. I’m trying to hold onto the happy thought that the newer database will involve less funny business. Even if that does mean, you know, abandoning my professional identity.
