People need to stop flying drones over active fire zones:
"A temporary flight restriction (TFR) remains in place over the Spokane Area Fires. Yesterday, there were 26 reported UAS incursions into the fire area. These incursions significantly impact fire operations as aircraft managers could suspend aerial firefighting suppression operations which jeopardize firefighting crews and the public. All unauthorized UAS flights over wildfires will be reported to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and law enforcement agencies. Remember, if you fly, we can’t!"

@kajord@hachyderm.io These assholes don't realize how dangerous this is. As a helicopter pilot, I know that a tail rotor strike by something as small as a DJI drone can take me out of the sky. They need to track down these people and prosecute them. The drones should be broadcasting an ASD-B signal. Understand that they're doing it for the money: somebody's going to pay big money for that drone footage. That's a good way to catch them. A sting op offering to buy footage?🤔
