for days now i cannot get over that one email which tried to pitch me "an interesting story about how music gets made before anyone decides what it should become: the quartet recorded together in 2022 without a release plan, and kept returning to those sessions over the next four years." very tempted to ask what it is that is so interesting about four people putting out stuff they've recorded and revised without a clear idea of what to do with it like millions of musicians before them.
