So I bought this fancy camping pot with heat exchanger hoping to speed up cooking in small quantities. I was suspicious seeing the spot welding on the exchanger so I made a test at home to compare how much faster it boils 250ml water, compared to a basic steel cup with tinfoil lid, using my Esbit stove. Results were underwhelming: basic steel cup beat fancy cup by 10 seconds (5 min 20s vs 5 min 30). #camping #Firemaple
