@gkiagia heyo! welcome to the platform! I saw you recent blog post on your newfound love for AI (https://gkiagia.gr/2026-09-29-a-new-chapter/) and I think you're the best person to talk about my couple-of-cents idea: I want to make a bot that calls in my place, goes through initial phone helpdesk (e.g. call the power company or the internet provider), optionally tries to navigate the issue itself and then hands off the call to me since alternate mobile numbers and SIPs are things I don't want to mess with, my thought was to make my desktop act as an HFP device, run a STT, LLM & TTS pipeline and when it's done/wants to relay the call to me, do so from the phone itself The main questions that I have are: how hard would it be to make wireplumber as an HFP "device" and how hard would it be to wire the agent in a way that it can delegate the call to me on my headphones (or to the mobile device?) in essence: mobile phone <- (bt, HFP) desktop <- (bt, optional when the agent is done) bt headphones note that i could even use the new LE bidirectional protocol (yes all my hardware supports it and it works) if it allows better/easier operation
