Our house is almost 80 years old and the power flashes when the neighbor's dog farts too hard. Now the internet will stay connected even when the power hiccups. The modem, while not almost 80, does not owe anybody anything and takes like 15 minutes to restart itself. Now we can worry about that less. Also the DVR and TV will run for a few hours. The important things.
