a decade ago, anything gen z did was attributed to "millenials" because people assumed it meant "born after 2000" instead of 1980-'95. now, anything gen α does is attributed to gen z, because people assume it just means "the youth with their devices and stuff"
looking forward to being gen x's replacement in ~30 years, where nothing anyone in my age bracket does is correctly attributed

@irina@critter.cafe a large portion of people not having jobs might be enough to fix the problems in this shitty world, more likely they'll just be expected to die on the streets with everyone else though
