Amazon: "Trainium" chips, influenced by acquisition of Annapurna Labs Google: TPUs - internal Microsoft: DPUs - internal So it's a mixed bag However, buying a company with the seed innovation is not the same scaling to the whole company, that requires time, in-house experts, and huge R&D investment
