I think there's a difference between "being tricky" (tricking people by nature) and "playing tricks" (tricking people on purpose)
eg. "deceptive" and "deceiving" are not the same thing - the former can exist without intent

@DrewKadel@social.coop To the extent that LLMs represent the intent to deceive over being merely deceptive, you have to go one or two levels up Sure, LLMs themselves are incapable of intent: but they wouldn't exist at all except as the end result of an intentional design
