But I gotta say, the accidental vertical “nd” ligature is kinda cool.
There are those who might argue that people who turn justification on for such short headlines deserve bad things.
I disagree, but mainly because this would still be happening (and with even more overlapping text!) even without justification.

@tphinney@typo.social Well, when it comes to the happy accidents, I'm glad I'm not the one having to make the choices, let's say. The automated layout giveth, and the automated layout taketh away. It does also remind me that a big unaddressed issue in FOSS typography is the shortage of good templates across the cornucopia of different HTML-outputting tools. So many just tackle font definitions alone.
