Hey guys! So I've been thinking, I wanna attempt to draw my Demon Slayer OC Shizuka. But I can't draw bodies well so I'm gonna try a bust! If anyone's curious, I have a couple of reference images I'd like to share. So you can have an idea of what she's supposed to look like. I'm using Crystal Kay as the base design. From her skin tone to her cheek bones. Even her nose cause she has such a cute nose! I'm using Nezuko and Koyuki for the eyes. Nezuko's human eyes for the iris and pupils. Koyuki for the eye shape cause this is the exact eye shape I imagined. The rest are just for hair, cause I can't decide on curly or micro braids. Or what kind of curls, fluffy afro or relaxed coils? Also! These are more references I'm using. Miyo from "My Happy Marriage" is a reference for her connection with her mother and the Usaba family. Being that Shizuka learns more about her mother and ancestors even after being long gone. And Miyo and her mom share a design motif of pink cherry blossoms. So I figure why not have Shizuka share a motif with her mom. And that's where the lapis lazuli comes into play. I'm thinking like a blue kimono with a gold design that looks like gold dust inside a gem stone. Plus her father is a water breathing user, and lapis lazuli represent oceans, yay! And then Lapis Lazuli from SU. I just love this design with the gold belt and Aladdin pants. That's it. #demonslayer #kimetsunoyaiba #oc #blackoc
