@Wyatt_H_Knott@mastodon.sdf.org @SteveThompson@mastodon.social There have been reports unverified that AI has gone off and done things no one thought it could or would do online. I don’t have the link though. Don’t you think there is a likely possibility someone will give AI enough agency to fuck with someone else, even if it is partially being directed, or autonomously? It’s a danger imo.

@Huntn00@mastodon.world It's possible in the same way that if someone leaked bomb plans to Pakistan they might use it to build a bomb, and nuke India... which someone did, and they did, and yet somehow, they haven't. @SteveThompson@mastodon.social
