I love when web sites say "hey, you're coming here from the EU. We therefore can't provide you with our content, as the EU operates under GDPR legislation." What they're actually saying is "we will track our users and be so privacy infringing that it is only legal to do so in the US". I appreciate the heads up though I am still confused as to how you managed to code a (news) site in such a fashion that it completely breaks GDPR, and that they prefer people NOT reading their news stories compared to ripping out whatever is breaking the GDPR, but hey, that's just me.
