I'm going to try not to walk around angry after spending a bunch of money setting myself up to be able to breathe moderately clean air because of a bunch of greedy fuckers who knew exactly who they were hurting and just didn't care. I imagine I will be only moderately successful. :blobcatknife: In case it's helpful, here are the recommendations from the thread I ended up going with: For Corsi-Rosenthal filtration: https://www.cleanairkits.com/ For respirators: https://envomask.com/ #climate

  • Final purchase to improve my air quality in These Trying Times: I bought indoor and outdoor air quality sensors: https://www.airgradient.com/ Air Gradient is a small Thai company making open source software and hardware. Shipping and customs from Thailand wasn't too very bad considering, and I think the price of their kits is fair. I'm not excited about having to measure my air quality, but I'm thankful that companies like this are out there. #foss #climate

@alisynthesis@io.waxandleather.com As a long haul strategy, the modular #OddCube #CorsiRosenthal Box should be released later this year - 3d Printable or kit-buyable, uses any brand of 10" furnace filters, runs pc fans for low energy use and easy replacement, has a cool shape (a #cuboctahedron !) - see their #Kickstarter https://beige.party/@beadsland/116889416498442008 #HEPA #DIY #3dPrinting #Wildfires #AirQuality
