@kdaigle @balloob how does that work with code licensing? Who owns the code written by the ai? Isn't copilot trained on almost all github repos? So could it's training set contain my agpl code? Can I just license code written by copilot under any license I want?

@kdaigle @balloob or has GitHub CoPilot Workspace a feature where it only uses code that matches the license of the code? I don't want to use a tool with a questionable legality. If it could generate already licenced code, and I then license it under an incompatible license it would be bad. Are there any safety features to prevent that?
