@RickGaehl@mstdn.social The Haldon and Powderham Belvederes are follies, and I'm not sure what Alfred's Tower at Stourhead is. Not military strong points though.
Post-attillery, #Vauban, forts have quite a lot more points, for mutual enfilading fire support, I don't know what the smallest number is.

@Photo55@mastodon.social Alfred's Tower is also a folly - albeit a very tall one. Supposedly, it marks the spot where Alfred mustered his troops.
