Couple of Scouty evenings. Tuesday I had my first review since starting Scouting. It went well. We talked about where I was happy, where I thought improvement could be made, and any worries. Mostly I requested more financial transparency with the leadership team, and also said I was wary that in 2-3 years time it’s likely I will lose my team as their children age out. I went in as a Scout Section Team Lead, and came out as a Scout Section Team Lead and Trustee 🤣 Wednesday night was a different kind of Scouting. I spent a few hours talking to the wonderful Mike from Scoutadelic. Just a meandering chat about Scouting, TSA, life, and of course we chatted a bit about Scoutadelic, Scourageous, and So, that was Scouts. Nice couple of evenings. I suspect this evening will entail trustee training.
