Did you know kicad allows slop? (https://dev-docs.kicad.org/en/rules-guidelines/tool-generated-content/index.html) And judging by the recent commit history they're leaning into it pretty hard, that's a lot of slop-commits.. (https://slopscan.ava.pet/repo/https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2FKiCad%2Fkicad-source-mirror) Apparently the only other such tool that is FOSS is called Fritzing that doesn't have any slop yet actually! Also no policy either way so just a matter of time.. :neocat_floof_sad:

Sigh.. To summarize: Use of LLMs is not forbidden when contributing to LibrePCB. Just use your brain to make sure no AI slop is ending up in issues or pull requests. (Didn't realise there were so many tools in this category, though most are proprietary and, it seems, all are more or less slop..)

What. The. Fuck?! The first thing in the readme for something called repose: Repose - Whole Codebase AI Reviewer WARNING This is the only human-written text or code in this hole project. You have been warned. I have not reviewed the code, nor do I intend to. I have tested this only for my own use cases. I was looking around recent commits in KiCad just to see how bad it was and it's just.. page after page with commits from some person where the message is just "repose" followed by, what I'm assuming is, a reference number. There must be hundreds of them in the past couple of days alone! And it just keeps going and going.. I mean, I guess the actual changes could be human made, but lets be real here, what kind of self-respecting sloperator even writes code themselves anymore?! I wonder how much work it would be to figure out which version you can use that is slop-free..
