Weird question, but are there any #Asciimath or #LaTeX experts on here who can help me with something? I've been tasked to recreate this equation in an article online and I keep hitting a stumbling block with the "0, v < c" and ", v >= c" section. I have no idea how to get that positioned there and it's driving me nuts.

    @coldkennels@mastodon.social Use "cases" to define piecewise functions, and "hfill" to fill horizontal space. Here's a shorter example of what you're trying to do, which should give you enough of an idea. \[ \begin {cases} \hfill 0, & v\lt c \\ \frac{F(v)}{F(c)}, & v\ge c \end{cases} \]
