#GrandTeton is the country’s eighth-most visited #NationalPark & is famous for its breathtaking views of the Teton Range of the #RockyMountains. #NationalParks are among the country’s most protected federal lands, & constructing a sports facility at Grand Teton could set a new precedent for the use of vast national park land in the Western United States.

Good news. And thank you to the #FourthEstate for bringing this to light, doubt it would have resolved this way without a #FreePress. #Trump #Interior #law #EnvironmentalLaw #preservation #conservation #wildlife #ecosystem #PublicLands #MLB https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2026/10/01/mlb-drops-proposal-host-baseball-game-grand-teton-national-park/

@Nonilex@masto.ai There are plenty of sites outside the park that could have comparable views without ruining the park itself. This is just Trump's chisel-in-the-crack attempt to ruin and sell off the parks piece by piece, with MLB as a accessory.
