The latest TestFlight beta tackles Overcast's most-hated bugs: - Sync sometimes resets your changes shortly after you make them - Incorrect ordering of new episodes in playlists with priority settings - Unexpectedly large storage usage (usually corresponding to download failures) - Episode progress resets to 0:00 on some failures or output-device changes …all thanks to a new friend you may know: https://www.reddit.com/r/overcast/comments/1uhzlcu/testflight_build_1161_tackling_the_mosthated_bugs/

@overcastfm@mastodon.social awesome. I have run into a few of these bugs myself but had no idea what could be causing them. Looking forward to the release!

@overcastfm@mastodon.social Oooohhh the reset to 00:00 has bitten me a few times when my phone connected to CarPlay! Happy to see that getting fixed. Thanks @marcoarment@mastodon.social!

@overcastfm@mastodon.social here’s a bug I run into fairly frequently. iPhone 12. iOS 26, but been doing it at least since iOS 18. Podcast ends. I navigate to new download via home screen notification. Hit play on new episode. Instead of new episode playing, recently ended episode starts from beginning.

@overcastfm@mastodon.social the incorrect ordering fix would be outstanding! It happens less than it used to, but drives me a little crazy for a day when it does.
