1. My husband's eye surgery went smoothly, it will take 5-6 weeks to see how successful it was.
Him getting into the hospital was a four-star fiasco, though. (Apologies to anyone coming in the main hospital entrance between 8:30 and 8:45 this morning.)
2. I had a very nice nap this afternoon. I rarely nap, as that is sometimes an occasion for sleep paralysis, but in a visit earlier this month, my sleep medicine doc said to use my cpap for naps. I did that, and had a very restful, pleasant nap.
3. An email newsletter from my library today explained how to use AI content controls in Libby to avoid books/audio books with AI. It was quick and easy to do.

@FiddleSix@zeroes.ca Glad your husband's surgery went well, hope he heals okay! Naps are rare for us too, we're glad you managed a nice nap! Fuck AI, glad more tools are emerging to deal with the ongoing onslaugt of slop. We recommend https://codeberg.org/ethical-foss/open-slopware/
