@CoolerPseudonym@wandering.shop Which leads me to another story! When I got married, my father found a luxury hotel in in Virginia; I think he saw it in an ad somewhere. So he booked a room for our honeymoon. When we got there, it really was beautiful. The check-in clerk told us that our stay came with free tickets to a famous international show that was filmed on the premises, daily. But the whole place seemed a little strange, somehow. Everyone we saw seemed to be carrying a Bible. They all greeted each other (and us) with blessings in Jesus' name. And then we found out that the show was the 700 Club. Pat Robertson owned the hotel, and Liberty University was right next door. We checked out and found somewhere else to stay. And I'm not saying that my wife (now ex-) picked up a few mementoes...but I'm not NOT saying that, either! 🤣
