Consider the opposite extreme: could one write something like Kaname Madoka and the Methods of Rationality?
Anyone can write anything, hypothetically, but #MadokaMagica is such a dense work, supported by a tremendous amount of skillful world-building by its principal author Urobuchi Gen and his collaborators, that one would have work hard to cram "methods of rationality" in there among the mahou shōjo.

You'd practically have to rewrite all of #MadokaMagica from the ground up in order to make your new material feel as though it belonged there in Mitakihara City with Madoka and her friends. There are, I am sure, #fanfic writers equal to that task, but they're likely to have better creative priorities than expostulating upon the "methods of rationality". (cont'd)
