The good book makes it quite clear that receiving communion is a necessary part of being a Christian. Low church sounds like embarrassed Mandeans.

They still do communion, but they believe it is symbolic rather than literal or at the very least do not believe in the real presence in a way comparable to RCC, Orthodox, or high church / liturgical (e.g. Classical Lutheran and Anglican) Protestants. It’s also not something that I’ve seen offered with the same frequency (it is not weekly or at every service at any ‘low church‘ Christian church I’ve attended).
