I’m asking if you think manipulators are typically popular whilst truth sayers are not, whether it’s the other way around or perhaps there is no correlation at all between those personalities and their perceived likability

[Not the OG commenter] I think you can be likeable or unlikeable with either of those traits. You can tell someone loudly in a group setting that they stink, or you can discreetly before they even go out remind them to put on deodorant. Your honesty doesn’t impact your likeability, it’s how you apply it. Same with sociopathy.
